Dr. Cheryl Ramos Dr. Cheryl Ramos
Dr. Cheryl Ramos was born in San Francisco and has lived in California most of her life. She is a graduate of the University of California Veterinary Medicine School. Cheryl moved to Florida for a year to complete her internship after graduation and has been an Emergency Clinician at VetCare since her return home. Cheryl enjoys spending her time off with her family, including Mamma Kitty the feline member. She also enjoys painting and hiking outdoors.
   
Dr. River May

Dr. River May
Dr. River May was born near Columbus Ohio and lived in several eastern states before moving to California. He graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz with a degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. He was admitted to the University California Davis Veterinary program based on his completion of a thesis concerning radiation and chemotherapy treatment for animals and the experience he gained as a Veterinary Technician, Wildlife Rehabilitator, and horse farm caretaker.

After receiving his DVM, Dr. May completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery here at VetCare with Dr. Kipperman. Dr. May spends time away from work enjoying the outdoors as much as possible. Climbing, Surfing and caring for his animals (two dogs and many Koi) always keep him busy.

   
Dr. Gerardo Martin Del Campo

Dr. Gerardo Martin Del Campo
Dr. Martin Del Campo was born in Tijuana Mexico and has lived in San Diego for most of his life. He attended the University of California at Davis where he completed an undergraduate degree in Animal Science. From there he went on to attend the Veterinary School. After receiving his DVM, Dr. Martin Del Campo completed a rotational internship at the Veterinary Specialty hospital in Rancho Santa Fe. Dr. Martin Del Campo is fluent in Spanish. He enjoys playing basketball and golf and taking trips home to visit his family in San Diego and Mexico when ever possible. And yes, Martin Del Campo is all one last name, believe it or not.

   
Dr. Barry Kipperman

Dr. Barry Kipperman Diplomate American College Veterinary Internal Medicine
Dr. Kipperman is from Long Island, New York and received his DVM in 1987 from the University of Missouri. He completed an internship at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York City, and a residency at University of California at Davis. Dr. Kipperman has been in a 24 hour referral practice since 1992, and was board certified in internal medicine in 1994. Dr. Kipperman founded VetCare in 1997.

Dr. Kipperman has published numerous articles on the topics of animal advocacy and veterinary ethics. Dr. Kipperman is a guest lecturer in the UC Davis veterinary school ethics course, and has presented symposia on standards of care and veterinary ethics at national meetings. When away from the hospital, Dr. Kipperman plays guitar and piano, and lives with his two cats Toby and Lilly and his Pug, Winston.

   
Dr. Britta Revels Dr. Britta Revels
Dr. Britta Revels was born in San Francisco and has lived on the peninsula most of her life.  She attended the University of California Davis where she completed an undergraduate degree in Biology with an emphasis in Physiology.  After a summer in Kenya studying wildlife behavior, she went on to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, West Indies.  She spent her clinical year at Colorado State Veterinary School of Medicine.  After receiving her DVM, Dr. Britta Revels completed an internal medicine and emergency internship here at VetCare under the tutelage of Dr. Barry Kipperman.  Impressed by the quality of the staff and high standard of veterinary medicine practiced at VetCare, Dr. Revels decided to join the team as an emergency clinician at the close of her internship. Britta enjoys spending her time off traveling with her husband Robert, hiking outdoors, and reading novels while cuddling with Nina, Shelby, and Lily, her feline companions, as well as Colin,  her adopted canine from the Caribbean.– pictured above.
   
Dr. John Haburjak

Dr. John Haburjak
Dr. John Haburjak graduated from UC Davis Veterinary School in 1993 with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree.  He practiced in Northern California for 5 years before returning to academics to complete combined surgical residency program in San Diego and the University of Illinois.

Dr. Haburjak is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. He has presented at several annual conferences, including the Veterinary Orthopedic Society and AVORE.  His clinical surgical interests include surgical oncologic procedures of the face, head and neck, corrective orthopedic procedures and neurosurgery (spinal).

Dr.  Haburjak’s hobbies include SCUBA diving, Oakland A’s baseball, road cycling and cooking (not to mention eating, too!).  He shares his life with his wife, Aimee (also a veterinarian), daughter Eva, Calvin (many-toed, Siamese cross) and Noelle (a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel).

   
Dr. Gregory S. Marsolais Dr. Gregory S. Marsolais
Dr. Gregory S. Marsolais is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, he is originally  from Sacramento and received his Masters and veterinary degree in 2002 from Iowa State University. He completed his surgical residency in 2006 and in July of 2006, Dr. Marsolais helped to found Veterinary Surgical Centers of the Delta and became chief of surgical staff at the Dublin practice. In his spare time, Dr. Marsolias enjoys training and competing in marathons, travel and scuba diving. He is accompanied by one cat (“Diz” which is short for Dizzy – she has a coordination disorder). His professional interest include neurologic surgery including spinal fractures and intervertebral disk ruptures, orthopedic surgery including joint surgery, fracture repair, and arthroscopy, and general soft tissue surgery.
